Create a code with the AI chat destination and attach a knowledge base. When someone scans, they land on a chat widget and can ask questions about the object in front of them — a museum exhibit, a piece of machinery, a product, a safety data sheet. Answers are grounded in your uploaded documents using retrieval-augmented generation, so the agent stays accurate and cite-able. Brand the widget with your accent colour and logo.
Use smart routing to send different scanners to different destinations from a single printed code. Staff can land on an internal dashboard, contractors on a check-in form, and visitors on a welcome page — all decided by access role, geography, device, or time of day. Add a scan-count cap to retire a code automatically once inventory runs out.
Connect a custom domain (for example qr.company.com) by adding a CNAME record pointing to scan.scanaspect.com and verifying it in the dashboard. Scan links then resolve through your branded domain, and the chat widget inherits your organisation's colours and logo.
Connect Polar under Settings, then create a code with the Payment destination and set an amount (or leave it open for the scanner to choose). Funds settle straight to your account through Polar — ScanAspect never holds your money.
Upload your document, add recipients, and optionally set an expiry date or open limit. Each recipient gets their own link, so you can see exactly who opened the file and when. The document.opened webhook fires on every view.
Enter an address or drop a map pin. Scanners get directions in their preferred maps app — handy for venues, events, and deliveries.
